What Amazon says

STAINLESS-STEEL: Each model of the Dynarex Medi-Cut Scalpels is constructed with a finely-honed stainless-steel blade which allows for precision performance. Plus, the stainless-steel construction prevents corrosion.
MULTIPURPOSE IMPLEMENTATION: A scalpel can be used outside of the medical field for multiple purposes including arts and crafts, woodworking, sculpting, taxidermy, in laboratory environments, or by estheticians and other spa professionals.
PROTECTIVE GUARD: A plastic protective guard is included with each disposable scalpel. It is recommended to place the guard on the blade whenever the scalpel is not in use, as well as prior to disposal, to prevent accidental injury.
PACKAGED IN BOXES: The Dynarex Medi-Cut Scalpels-Disposable are sterile and packaged in an easy-to-open boxes of 10. This also allows for safe, long-term storage of the scalpels and prohibits contamination.
DISPOSABLE: No need to try to sharpen the stainless-steel blades, simply dispose of a dull, used Dynarex Medi-Cut Scalpel and open a new one. Dynarex provides Best in Class alternative to other leading brands and products.
