There are already dedicated personal video recording devices that can do this. When you're just recording video (and not doing any other functions) it's easier to extend battery life, etc.

A similar product, that I’ve read about but never used, is the Looxcie 2: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00400O8PO, http://www.looxcie.com/looxcie-2/. It’s not a pair of glasses, though – it’s a small camcorder that hooks over your ear.
