After having wrecked many MicroSD cards with ARM SBCs, I have found that the Samsung High Endurance MicroSD cards[1] have held up to consistent use so far, including being used as backing scratch stores / swap space for calculations on an ODROID-C2. They're also pretty cheap for how reliable they have been. Of course, it's just anecdata, so YMMV.
