Something like this? It's not backpack portable, although I think there are some out there that are smaller. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09DKTM6NF

What Amazon says

PORTABLE BONFIRE: This compact wood stove assembles in seconds without any tools required, making it easy to transport and store. It provides a remarkably portable, durable fire pit for an unparalleled outdoor fire experience.
SECONDARY COMBUSTION: Cleverly positioned holes in the double-wall structure draw air from the base, feeding the heated oxygen to the top. This creates a surge of hot air over the fire, reducing smoke without the need for batteries or fans.
EFFICIENT BURN: With this bonfire burning almost smoke-free, you'll spend less time avoiding smoke and more time savoring the fire and reconnecting with what's important! Plus, no more dealing with half-burnt logs.
ASH PAN: Our handy ash pan catches loose ash to prevent clogging of vital airflow. It also acts as a heat shield, reducing heat transfer to the ground beneath. The ash pan can be removed for easy ash disposal.
ACCESSORIES: The cross-shaped base protects heat-sensitive surfaces. Extra handles ensure easy mobility of the fire pit.
