What Amazon says

MGS-1 is a Martian soil simulant made to represent the general regolith found across the Martian surface, based on composition data from the Curiosity rover. It is designed for labs, universities, researchers, and technical testing teams.
A useful material for rover-wheel testing, dust behavior testing, abrasion testing, checking equipment interaction, and running geotechnical experiments on Mars-like terrain.
Made using mineral and rock fragments in carefully selected proportions rather than a single Earth rock type, so texture and composition stay close to real Martian regolith.
A good fit for researchers, universities, aerospace teams, and testing facilities working on Mars surface studies, ISRU research, astrobiology, and future Mars mission planning.
