It was really really bad.
So bad I had considered building a sound dampining enclosure for it.
Instead I bought an aftermarket fan (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B075R3W8V7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b...) and using Ifixit, replaced it.
Now it's much quieter.
